Shelley Staples

Shelley Staples is Associate Professor of English and Second Language Acquisition and Teaching at University of Arizona. Her work focuses on corpus-based analyses of spoken and written corpora, for applications to language teaching, language testing, and to understand language development across situations of use (registers). Her publications can be found in Applied Linguistics, TESOL Quarterly, Language Testing, Modern Language Journal, and English for Specific Purposes, along with other applied linguistics journals.
