Biography

About

Dr Richard Kiely is a Senior Lecturer in Education/Applied Linguistics at the University of Bristol. He has research interests in language program evaluation, language teaching and assessment, and identity perspectives on learning in Applied Linguistics. He directs the MSc TESOL, coordinates doctoral programs in TESOL/Applied Linguistics, and leads the Centre for Research on Language and Education (CREOLE). He is the co-author (with Pauline Rea-Dickins) of Programme Evaluation in Language Education (2005, Palgrave Macmillan), and is currently working on the Europe-wide Comenius project, PRO-CLIL, developing practice in Content and Language Integrated Learning.
