Paul Nation

Paul Nation is Professor of Applied Linguistics in the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. His research interests are in second language vocabulary teaching and learning, as well as language teaching methodology. He is the author of Learning Vocabulary in Another Language (Cambridge, 2001) and also the author or coauthor of widely used research tools such as the Vocabulary Levels Test, the Academic Word List and the Range program.
