Biography

About

Dr Neomy Storch is a senior lecturer in ESL and Applied Linguistics, and the coordinator of the ESL Program in the School of Languages and Linguistics, at the University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on issues related to second language (L2) pedagogy, including collaborative writing, feedback, writing development and the nature of peer interaction. She has published widely on these issues and presented her findings at national and international conferences and invited plenaries. She has published a book on Collaborative Writing in L2 Classrooms (Multilingua Matters, 2013) and is currently co-authoring a book with Professor Bitchener entitled Written Corrective Feedback for SLA: Theoretical Perspectives and Empirical Research (Multilingual Matters, to appear in 2015). She is the co-editor of the Australian Review of Applied Linguistics and a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Second Language Writing and Language Teaching Research.
