Biography
About
Johanna Motteram has recently completed a Master of Arts, Applied Linguistics at the University of Adelaide. Her minor thesis investigated candidates' preparation for the IELTS Test. She is an experienced ESL teacher and has taught in a variety of contexts including university preparation, ELICOS colleges and teaching English to young learners. Johanna is now working as a lecturer and research assistant in Applied Linguistics at the University of Adelaide. Beyond language assessment, her interests are in language policy and student participation in language classes.
Johanna Motteram is a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide. Her research interests include candidate experiences with high-stakes tests and the assessment of written texts.
