Biography
About
Dr Ian Walkinshaw is a Lecturer in English at the School of Languages and Linguistics at Griffith University, where he co-ordinates the English Language Enhancement Courses (ELEC) program. He has been involved in English language teaching and applied linguistics since 1994 as a teacher, curriculum designer and researcher, and has worked in Japan, Vietnam, Britain, New Zealand and Australia. His publications include Learning Politeness: Disagreement in a Second Language (Peter Lang, 2009).
