Biography

About

Angela Gayton is Lecturer in Applied Linguistics and Education at the University of Glasgow. Her research interests include linguistic and cultural perspectives on the internationalisation of higher education, as well as motivational and identity issues in language learning. In addition to having worked on an IELTS-funded project on language test score use in university admissions, she was also involved in the AHRC-funded MEITS (Multilingualism: Empowering Individuals, Transforming Society) project. Her work appears in journals such as TESOL Quarterly (2019); Language Learning Journal (2019); and Journal of Further and Higher Education (2019).
