Biography
About
Dr Ana Lobo is an Associate Lecturer in English at the School of Languages and Linguistics at Griffith University. She has been involved in English and Spanish language teaching for over 10 years and is a Portuguese/English translator. Her research interests include tertiary student retention, second language teaching and learning and the practice of translation and interpreting in Australia. Her publications include Will We Meet Again? Examining the Reasons Why Students are Leaving First Year University Courses, The International Journal of Learning (2012).
